Look half man, half amazing.

If you're waking up with an uneven skin tone, baggy under-eyes or dry lips, some light makeup touches are excellent quick fixes—especially if you need to look your best at a social event. The best makeup products I use are the ones that create a no-makeup look. My advice is to invest in products that will offer the appearance of a smooth complexion and even-toned skin. Here are some of my favourite products to help you achieve a well-groomed face.

TINTED MOISTURISER

Tinted moisturisers are a powerful way to even out and smooth your complexion if you have scarring. They’re easy to apply and most of these moisturisers comes with an SPF, extra protection for your skin. Just make sure you invest in the right colour tint for your skin tone.

CONCEALER

Using a concealer is the easiest way to delve into using makeup, because you're just covering up a blemish or dark spots. It's more of a corrector: for example if you have dark under eye circles you can use it to hide those concerned areas. Like a tint, you must get a concealer that blends with your skin colour.

BROW FILLER

Adding some thickness, shape and definition to your eyebrows can do wonders for achieving a well-groomed look. You can also use a brow filler to thicken and fill in your hairline, and beard—and camouflage those grey hairs that pop up in between your hair.

PRIMER

I normally use a primer as a base layer on my skin. It helps smooth out my face and I apply my moisturiser afterwards. It also softens out fine lines and obscures the appearance of pores.

LIP BALM

I prefer a lip balm with a matte finish, so you don't actually feel like you have stuff on your lips. My secret, I apply some lip balm at night before bed to keep my lips hydrated and crack-free in the morning.
