I know the true value of quality: precision, craftsmanship, longevity. Which brings me to this post on Jacobs Man. The Sebago boat shoe, the timeless moccasin shape and sturdy non-slip soles remains iconic and most importantly is quality. My first introduction to a pair of Sebago boat shoes dates back to when my dad styled it with pleated khaki trousers, a polo and a pair of aviators. His style was unmatched.
In my opinion Sebago has a unique mix of high calibre materials and traditional handmade construction and deliver a durable and stylish product. Once you see the level of craftsmanship and the quality of the leather that goes into each pair of Sebago shoes, you’ll understand why you should buy them.
Leather
The full grain leather is a dynamic role-player in the manufacturing of the shoes. It’s been neither sanded or buffed to remove imperfections, leaving the hide au natural.
Outsole
Channel slipped soles equal slip-resistance and the Sebago Docksides rubber sole was designed with confidence to meet the challenges of the sailors moving from dock to boat deck.
Rawhide laces
The durable leather one piece rawhide laces are functional, it provides a more custom fit, and the look can be customized with the different colours and laces for a personal touch.
